Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the western in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that players compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to fret about other, more skillful people taking their money.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
