Internet poker has become world famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several variations on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the dealer broadcasting "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players receive five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your wager goes immediately to the casino. After the bet is the showdown. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a sum in accordance with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out money even with your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:

• Even for a pair or high card
• two to one for 2 pairs
• three to one for three of a kind
• 4-1 for a straight
• 5-1 for a flush
• 7-1 for a full house
• 20-1 for a four of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• one hundred to one for a royal flush
